Crockpot Red Beans with sausage


Read Beans

 

1 bag beans soaked over night / then rinsed and water in crock pot till covered

1 med onion cut up

1 green pepper if you like

7 plum tomatos or 1 can diced

2 cans tomato paste

1 can tomato soup no water added

Garlic to taste

Ms dash to taste cumin or cilantro fresh to taste

 

Hot sauce to taste.

 

Add sausage cut up  any kind as much as you like or the crock pot can hold

For more puch fry grill roast in oven then add cut up into pot.

 

Cook on high 6 to 10 hours…. Make a pot of rice to go with!

 

Extras avocado, shredded cheese,  fresh green onion,  cook with okra, add jalapeno peppers.

 

Mussels in red wine Sauce


Red wine mussels

 

Make linguine al dente and sever this sauce

 

1 Cup red wine

3 tblsp olive oil

1 can diced Italian tomates

Onion dices

Green pepper diced

Garlic diced

1 bag or 1 ½ pounds mussels scrub and rinse

Touch of hot sauce

Honey

 

Saute onion garlic pepper till tender in olive oil, add wine, add mussels cook till open on very very very low flame> add all other ingredients.  Add shrimp till cooked at this point  add honey and hot sauce to taste and serve over pasta

 

Great with salad or cooked for party as an appetizer.

crockpot Chicken and dumplings


Chicken and dumplings

 

2 to 4 cups left over chicken no skin no bones  

2 cans mixed veggies

1 can cream of chicken

Celery if you like

1 onion chopped

Garlic to taste

Water to cover and season as you like.

 

Add on low everything and let cook about an hour before serving take a can or two of biscuits or make some drop ones from the mix if your froggy. And add them a pinch or ½ teaspoon at a time turn on high . Jump in the shower get all comfy. Chase all the dogs out of the house and dip you up a big bowl and watch criminal minds marathon.

 

Don’t call my sister she take huge bowls home cause the next day its even better!

crockpot black eye peas


Black eye peas

 

1 pack smoked hag jawl

1 package soaked and rinsed and water to cover black eye peas

1 sweet onion chopped

1 Green pepper if you like

Seasoning to taste no salt really needed with pork.

2 to 3 pak of pork bullion

Garlic to taste.

Cook low for 6 to 8 hours

 

 

Serve with white rice  and tomaotes cooked with okra.

 

Corn bread.

Goulash.. or omg you made that

Crockpot time and its for Steve my hubby's Friend.

Goulash can be made from any meat in my cheap house its mostly hambuger. but in looking in my freezer i notice my DH ate all the hamburger so i go 1 small roast


1 small roast about 2 lbs or what ever. cut into chunks
1 to 2 onions cut into about 8 wedges each
1 large green pepper
1 can tomatoe sauce large
2 cans diced italian tomatoes
parsley dried about 1/8 cup
itailian seasoning about 1/8 cup or to taste
3 tablespoons garlic or more to taste
dash of wes'shire sauce
2 teaspons full of cumin

2 cans mixed veggies
1 bag elbow pasta



in crock pot put everything but mixed veggies and pasta.  stir and let this cook for about 6 hours  set to warm then add mixed veggies. 

cook pasta, drain DO NOT OVER COOK PASTA! maybe just a tiny tad under cooked. turn off crockpot.

Add pasta..... to everything stir let sit in crock pot about 30 mins and then eat  sprinkle with cheese
serve with corn bread garlic toast

Ps. you can add mushrooms fresh chopped or canned, okra frozen, potatoes chunked, almost any left over veggies.

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper
